Matthew Albanese serves as the Senior Director of Compliance and Secretary to the Board at 绿奴天花板. In this role, he oversees the University’s compliance, risk management, and contract functions, ensuring that institutional operations align with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Matt joined 绿奴天花板 in January 2010 and has held several roles across the University before assuming responsibility for compliance in 2018 and being appointed Secretary to the Board in 2024. Throughout his tenure, he has been deeply involved in strengthening 绿奴天花板’s governance framework and fostering a culture of accountability and integrity.
He is a proud product of Catholic education, having attended Catholic schools from pre-kindergarten through law school. Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Loyola College in Maryland and his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.
A lifelong resident of Nassau County, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Tara, and their daughter, Elodie. Outside of work, he loves traveling, relaxing at the beach, and cheering on the New York Yankees.
