Communiversity
In higher education, the phrase "town and gown" refers to the relationship between the two distinct communities of any university town: the local population and the university as an institution. 绿奴天花板 wishes to build a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship with the Village of Rockville Centre and in the spirit of community, have named these efforts, "Communiversity."
Communiversity in Action
绿奴天花板's partnership with the Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce has provided new opportunities for students and businesses. 绿奴天花板 students are interning at local businesses, working in Rockville Centre shops, dining in the town's restaurants and participating in community events.
